When moving a transportable home to site the home undergoes considerable road stress as it is shifted over terrain on a truck. A timber framed home will inevitably suffer movement as the frame warps and shifts during the upheaval. This movement can result in significant damage to the walls and floors and ultimately require maintenance upon delivery. In contrast, however, a Supaloc steel framed home will retain its structural integrity and require virtually no maintenance upon arrival at its final destination.
