How much is delivery?

Delivery costs vary in relation to your location. 100km of transport is included in the standard price of the home and additional km's are charged at a cost-per-kilometre from our construction site in Edinburgh North, Adelaide, South Australia.

Where do you deliver to?

South Australia wide. Due to road and transport restrictions in different states around the country, it is unfortunately not possible to deliver our homes to all areas of Australia. Click here to view a guide to our delivery areas.

What is included in the price?

Included in the base price of the home are all the inclusions from our Silver Specification, including SUPALOC Steel framing, Thermaloc floor insulation and 100km of travel. Click to to view the Silver Specification.

Do I have to prepare the site myself?

Yes, you will need to provide the following:

    100m compacted dolomite base of the house footprint, extended 2 metres around the perimeter of the home. 
    Prepare tie-down holes (all engineering and locations will be provided to you by Allsteel). 
    Provide clear access (including wet-weather access) to the house location.

Do you build on site?

Where we are unable to transport the home to your property, in some instance, we may be able to build on site. This will be site specific and your building consultant will look into this with you.

How long does it take to build one of your homes?

For a home that is transported to site, from contract signing to delivery on site, is approximately 6½ months.

Do you build 'Granny Flats'?

We can transport Granny Flats only to properties that have the required access for transport.

Do you build cabins?

We certainly do build cabins! Please contact our Sales Team to discuss design options with you.

Is flooring and air-conditioning included in the price?

It is not included in the base price, however we can provide a quote for flooring and air-conditioning from our regular suppliers.

Can I make changes to a floorplan?

Yes, changes can be made to the layout as long as they are kept within the transport footprint!

Does the decking come with it?

Wherever decks are shown as part of the main roof design, they are included.

Do we have to take care of the council approvals and other permits?

No, not at all! Allsteel happily takes care of all council and building permits.

Do I have to organise my own plumber and electrician?

You will require a plumber and electrician on site after delivery to connect the services to your property. All gas, water and electrical provisions are provided by Allsteel.

Are we able to do our own kitchen/flooring/cabinets etc?

Flooring and air-conditioning can be done by oneself after handover. In some cases, you will be able to install your own joinery after handover also.

Can we have double-glazed windows?

This will be dependent on design and size of the window - in the case of larger windows, the glazing will need to be installed on site after delivery, due to its weight.

Can we go off-grid?

Yes, Allsteel can provide the relevant provisions to the home for you to connect better storage etc for off-grid living.

What is the maximum-sized home I can build?

The maximum single-lift module is 6.85m wide and 21.6m long. You can build a larger home with 2 or 3 split modules up to these same dimensions.
