Comforting Colours

As we spend more time indoors during the cooler months it is only natural that we want to bring the outside in. This winter we will see a resurgence in earthy and warm tones – think hues of mustard, brown, and deep greens. You can easily introduce these colours into your homes simply by switching up the artwork, accessories, and soft furnishings - but remember less is more.

Let Light In

Allow the winter sunlight into your home and create a cosy cove away from the brisk winter air with the use of elegant full length window coverings, which will become the hero of any room with their simplicity and functionality. We recommend beginning the railing where the wall meets the ceiling – giving the illusion of higher ceilings, and maximum light control.

Let’s Get Textural

Create a snug and inviting atmosphere in your home using a variety of different textures, such as velvet, wool, cashmere, and flannel. Layered together, these textiles will create a strong sense of depth and warmth and quickly upscale your space into your own slice of luxury.

Organic & Nature Inspired

Natural materials have been growing in popularity and don’t seem to be going anywhere with the resurgence in reconnecting to nature - think bare unpolished timbers, stunning natural stones, and natural fibres. Incorporating nature into your spaces can be as simple as pairing a stone benchtop with some wooden stools or adding lots of greenery and florals around the home. Looking for something a little extra? Why not look at raw timber coffee tables with gorgeous, grained textures or travertine bedside tables.

Why not use these interior design trends to inspire your creativity and give your interior a refresh with a fresh winter colour palette.
